Net-san 4
is intended for designers of outdoor sewerage and water supply networks. It enables plotting horizontal plans (schematic drawings of network) and profiles of water supply and sewerage systems, and drawing schematics of nodes in the water supply network. The data entered into the network diagram form basis for hydraulic calculations, which include sizing pipe diameters in a water supply (radial) network or sewerage (gravitational or pressurized) network and determination of the required pressure of the water source. Hydraulic calculations are integrated with an algorithm of determining optimum vertical layout of the network (avoiding interference with other utilities and appurtenances).
Package Manager supports the use and updating of the program and updating of catalogues. The source for the update can be a disk (dedicateds CD-ROM with update files) or the Internet.
The "Scan Combine" application is an additional tool that facilitates scanning a large map or plan of building (base drawing), e.g. of A0 format, when the user has only access to small size scanner, e.g. of A4 format.
