New, enhanced version of sewage module in Instal-san


New, enhanced and extended version of sewage designing module in Instal-san has been published recently. It comprises a significant extension of calculations scope and more editing facilities.

Instal-san

The extension of calculations scope comprises:
  • including DIN 1986-100 requirements. Now the calculations and diagnostics can be made in compliance with EN 12056 alone or according to EN 12056 and DIN 1986-100 specific requirements,
  • adding roof drainage elements according to EN 12056-3 (sizing of rain water pipes and outlet network on the basis of declared water outlet from the roof),
  • if the sewage system manufacturer ‘s library contains fittings, the program will select and size the fittings necessary to realize network nodes (pipe-runs connections). Moreover, the user can declare any set of fittings on a pipe-run, independent of those selected by the program,
  • the diagnosis of correct network layout has been extended, especially for ventilation.

 

Some editing facilities in this version:
  • direct chamfering on pipe-runs orthogonal connecting,
  • chamfering of orthogonal pipe-run connections made before without chamfering,
  • chamfering of pipe-runs during sanitary whiteware auto-connection,
  • water and sewage calculations may be run independently.
